Evangelia Bellas, PhD, Founder

Evangelia is a professor of bioengineering and the founder of BellasFATLab, where she studies fat tissue as an endocrine organ. Metis grew out of her own perimenopause experience and the gap she saw between what the science knows and what patients are told.

Eva Hardy, Designer & Illustrator

Eva is a designer and illustrator who builds visual systems for complex ideas. For Metis, she developed the anatomical line-art language and brand identity, translating dense endocrine science into visuals that feel clear, grounded, and human.
